The conference will take place at the St. John’s Fortress in Šibenik.

The educational campus is situated below the so-called pliers, the northern part of the fortress. The campus is equipped with interactive classrooms, bedrooms and conference rooms, and intended for student groups, young experts and artists who come to Šibenik for study visits or other educational purposes. Šibenik is located on the Adriatic Sea in the Dalmatia region. It is the 11th largest city in Croatia by population. It is about 80 km from Split and Zadar and can be reached from there by bus or car. Split and Zadar have airports that accept international flights (e.g. Ryanair and low cost airlines). There are various rent a car companies or shuttle bus services at both airports.

To Split or Zadar

It is recommended that you choose the most ideal flights to Split and Zadar because they are the closest to Šibenik.

Split

If you choose Split as the airport, you have two options.
1st option
Take the shuttle bus that will take you directly to the bus station at Split. There, one of the offered bus lines will take you to Šibenik (the ride takes approx. 1.5 to 2 hours). Split – Šibenik bus ticket costs approx. 9 EUR. Considering that it is the beginning of the tourist season, the bus departs every hour.

2nd option
Rent a car at the airport and get to Šibenik in your own arrangement. You will drive on the state road D8 for approximately 60 km. You also have the option of using a taxi directly from the airport to Šibenik. A taxi car costs approx. 80 EUR, while a taxi van (5-8 persons) costs approx. 100 EUR

Zadar

If you choose Zadar as the airport, you have two options.
1st option
Take the shuttle bus that will take you directly to the bus station. There you will be taken by one of the offered bus lines towards Šibenik (the ride takes approx. 1.5 hours). Zadar – Šibenik bus ticket costs approx. 9 EUR. Considering that it is the beginning of the tourist season, the bus departs every hour.

2nd option
Rent a car at the airport and get to Šibenik in your own arrangement. You will drive on the state road D8 for approximately 80 km. You also have the option of using a taxi directly from the airport to Šibenik. A taxi car costs approx. 120 EUR, while a taxi van (5-8 persons) costs approx. 150 EUR.
